While we, fortunately, have had the support of so many extraordinary individuals from all over the world, this next story is something different.
On May 28, our wonderful supporter Lesley, the founder of From Acorn to Oak With Love – or FATOWL – which offers baby & child massage and yoga in Edinburgh, ran a marathon to raise funds for our charity.
There are a few photos demonstrating Lesley’s unbelievable effort, endurance and determination. With the help of her family cheering her on and motivated by the desire to help others, Lesley completed 26.2 miles raising over £1000 for our vulnerable children! It is an incredible physical effort and a very kind donation when so many families struggle with rising costs and inflation.
