By Natalie Blinder. For many people, Ukraine remains a mysterious Eastern-European country, known because of the ongoing conflict in Donbas and Chernobyl.
However, there is more to Ukraine. Our country is experiencing an uprising in social movements and stirring of collective consciences. Many people have united to help those facing unfortunate circumstances and try to make a difference. Many citizens contribute to the common social good in any way that they can; by volunteering, sharing resources and helping each other.
Bright Kids Charity is inspired by these examples of generosity and we do whatever we can to make the lives of underprivileged Ukrainian children better. We are motivated by those who are taking responsibility. As surprising as it may sound, a little help can go a long way. It is possible to feed a child in Ukraine with as little as €1.50.
For the cost of:
1 cup of coffee (€1.50), we can purchase 1 litre of milk and a loaf of bread in Ukraine.
2 cups of coffee (€3 ), we can purchase 1 litre of milk, a loaf of bread and 350 grams of cottage cheese.
1 cup of coffee (€1.50) and a pastry (€2.50) = (€4), we can purchase 1 litre of milk, a loaf of bread, 350 grams of cottage cheese and 10 eggs. There are thousands of children in need in Ukraine. It is possible to make their lives better by giving just a little. Support a child, donate today!
