Dear Friends, as 2024 came to a close, we would like to share an update on our activities from October to December, as well as a summary of our activities throughout the year 2024.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to our donors—both companies and individuals worldwide—who generously supported our efforts throughout 2024. Thanks to your contributions, we were able to brighten the lives of our beneficiaries, including vulnerable children and mothers in Ukraine, fostering a sense of hope in their circumstances. Your generosity enabled us to assist families in need and support the institutions that care for these children and their families. We are profoundly grateful to each one of you. A special thank you to GlobalGiving (USA) and Poki (Netherlands)—for their unwavering support through the years and generous contributions. Your help has truly been a source of inspiration and hope for us.
During the reporting period from October to December 2024, our charitable activities amounted to UAH 460,416.44.
During this time, we purchased various consumables and parenteral nutrition for all newborns and premature babies. Additionally, we supplied a microwave oven to the NICU of the Kirovohrad Regional Clinical Children’s Hospital.
We also purchased sports equipment for talented pupils of the Kmytiv specialised educational institution for children with developmental delays and disabilities. In October, the school began preparations for the Special Olympics 2025 World Winter Games, which will be held in Turin, Italy, from March 1 to March 15, 2025. With cross-country skiing as their chosen discipline, we ensured that the tournament participants were fully equipped in advance, thanks to regular donations and support from generous individuals. Together, in the spring, we will proudly cheer on and support our athletes as they represent their school and country.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our donors from Norway, Geir Magne and his team, whose support enabled us to purchase stationery and art supplies for 50 children from Kharkiv.
We are deeply grateful to Poki for their invaluable support of our children’s centre located in Berestyn (formerly Krasnohrad) in the Kharkiv region. From September to November, the centre, which operates in partnership with the Volunteer League NGO, supported 204 children from families facing challenging life circumstances, including those displaced by the war. The centre provided these children a safe space for quality leisure time, peer interaction, and psychological and educational support in a friendly and nurturing environment. On the final day of the project, the staff organised an unforgettable celebration for the children—a magical farewell event filled with kindness. The festivities included appearances by cartoon characters, dancing, outdoor games, a soap bubble show, countless hugs, and heartfelt words of gratitude. Each child received a personalised gift to cap off the day, ensuring the memories of joy and care would stay with them.
We would also like to extend our warmest thanks to Kuehne+Nagel Ukraine. Through their thoughtful initiative, they showed their generosity and care by providing festive gifts to our little beneficiaries. Thanks to their kindness, 59 children received cosy toy blankets on Christmas Eve, bringing warmth and smiles to their hearts.
In the year of 2024:
1600 conflict-affected children – students of 4 children’s centres – received educational services and psychological support
3 specialised educational residential facilities received regular care and support
4 hospitals received much-needed assistance with their most urgent needs
16 children with disabilities underwent essential physical rehabilitation courses
more than 400 children from the hero city of Kharkiv and the region were provided with baby food and hygiene needs
dozens of families in need received assistance in the form of food and vitamins, clothing and hygiene products, which was a great help to survive in this challenging year, and
8 mothers raising children with disabilities received support for their ventures.
Our total donations were divided as follows:

As we look toward 2025, we kindly ask for your continued support of our charitable work efforts. Your generosity plays a crucial role in ensuring that we can continue providing long-term assistance to the children, families, and institutions that rely on Bright Kids Charity.
The ongoing war continues to push more and more families into desperate circumstances, and many turn to us for help. In the coming year, we aim to maintain the same level of support by keeping our doors open, delivering basic necessities, providing medical care, and offering vital assistance to displaced children and children with disabilities. Additionally, we will continue supporting orphanages and children’s hospitals.
